Hair Dance Vegan Volumising Dry Shampoo Lavender, 2oz/57g. I was looking for a dry shampoo as a temporary quick fix between hair washes to refresh my hair and came across this product on AQ Online UK, so I decided to purchase this for the following reasons:

My order arrived intact and in secure packaging. After reading the information on the bottle, I unscrewed the nozzle from the bottle. I was pleased to see that the bottle's contents had a seal. I removed the seal, left the white ring in place and replaced the nozzle. I tapped and shook the bottle to ensure that the powder was loose. To remove the cap you have to unscrew then pull off gently. The powder is white, dry, fine and lightweight. Before applying the powder to my hair, I did a test patch on my hair to see how well the powder would blend in. The powder, dispensed in small amounts from the nozzle when tapped gently and blended in better and was easier to control by using my fingertips instead of applying it directly from the bottle. The roots of my hair were greasy, so I applied small amounts of powder, spread evenly across my fingertips and rubbed vigorously onto my scalp/roots. I was cautious of dust powder coming into contact with my eyes whilst trying to blend it in. I spent a couple of minutes applying the powder and brushing it through my hair for even distribution. I continued to style my hair with a hair dryer, on a cool/warm setting and brushed to remove any excess powder and dry out the grease from my roots. I lifted my hair at the roots with a brush to add volume and used a fixing spray to keep my hairstyle in place. If the powder is not evenly distributed, heavily applied or your roots are too greasy it can lead to a white powdery residue on the roots/hair and be hard to blend out. My hair looked refreshed, less greasy, no visible white residue and had plenty of volume. I washed my hair with shampoo and conditioner a couple of days later and didn't notice anything unusual after using this dry shampoo on my scalp and hair. It washes out easily in contact with liquids without leaving residue on the hair and my hair texture didn't change. The powder didn't cause any irritation or sensitivities to my scalp or hair.

I think I’ve reviewed this before but honestly it deserves multiple reviews. This is the ONLY dry shampoo I’ll ever use. I’ve been using this product for like 3 years now. I used it back when it was in the squirt brown bottle and they’ve only improved it by putting it in that pump. It’s the only product that doesn’t make my hair greasy. Every other dry shampoo I’ve tried makes my hair MORE greasy than it was to start. This sucks up all the oils and it smells good. I just went 4 days without washing my hair and this product is the only way I was able to do that! I could NEVER do that with a typical aerosol dry shampoo. And even tho the bottle is small one lasts me almost a year even with using it often. I’d give it more stars if I could!

Love this! Finally a powder that works like a "spray"!

I hated aerosol it always smelled and my hair still looked greasy! Look no further. For real I usually have to wash every other day and this stuff allows me to go 3-4 days and even gives volume and really soaks up grease appearance! It smells nice too!! Super happy will always be a fan now.

My hair gets oily very often and no dry shampoo has ever worked for me so I gave up on it. But this dry shampoo really works and gives my hair volume! I love it!!

I live on dry shampoo and I love this non aerosol option. You sprinkle onto areas of concern and blend into hair with fingertips. My first bottle lasted me 4-5 months and it smells great. Definitely recommend!!

I became allergic to spray dry shampoo (which was good since after doing some research found it is highly carcinogenic). I found it sometimes won’t puff out powder but if you shake it and try again it works fine. Easiest powder dry shampoo I have found to date. And I’ve tried a lot of them….

Love this stuff and so happy to find it in compostable packaging! I've been using this dry shampoo for years - simply made with real ingredients, excellent oil absorption, and no alcohol or aerosol. I can't ask for more. Thanks, Hair Dance!

I have tried so many dry shampoos, and decided to try this one because of the great reviews. I was not disappointed! My hair is thin and can get greasy by the end of a wash day, so dry shampoos are a must for me. This powder is thin and takes the greasy appearance right out of my hair. I love how easy it is to apply using the pump, and it doesn't leave a white/gray appearance on my dark brown hair. It does take a little TLC working it into my roots, but makes it look freshly washed. This is now my go-to dry shampoo, and one bottle lasts forever!

I located this oriduct while shopping on Amazon. Sadly, I can no longer find it there, but luckily I have been able to purchase the product direct. This product seems to help work scalp stimulation/hair growth. I have been using it for over 2 years.

This dry shampoo works really well for me between washes or when I want to create some volume, these are some of the other reasons:
1. I love the light lavender scent as someone who hates overpowering scents/odors.
2. It is great for traveling in a carry on.
3. It lasts much longer than an aerosol. I would say at least 2-3 times as long.
4. It doesn’t create a cloud like an aerosol.
